Kamaldeen Kolawole Lawal, a student of Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering at Kwara State University, has made history by breaking two remarkable records as the current president of the Ife-olukotun Students’ Union Government (IOSUG).
Kolawole, who hails from the Ere Compound, achieved the unprecedented feat of winning the presidential seat without an election—an occurrence last recorded over a decade ago. This marks a significant moment in the history of IOSUG, showcasing Kolawole's exceptional leadership qualities and unanimous acceptance among the students.
Furthermore, Kolawole has cemented his legacy by becoming the first individual to deliver two consecutive presidential victories for the Ere Compound in a very long time. This back-to-back triumph underscores his dedication to representing and uplifting his community within the union.
