In a fiercely contested battle of knowledge and confidence, Peculiar emerged as the overall champion of the 2025 Nobigdeal Academy Scholarship Challenge, securing the top position by defeating Success with a narrow two-point lead.
The scholarship challenge, held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Nobigdeal Academy, Abuja, featured five participants, but only three scholarships were awarded. The competition tested contestants in two major categories a debate and a general computing quiz assessing both critical thinking and academic skills.
Tough Debate Session
The debate focused on the topic:
“Is passion more important than resources in achieving success?”
In this segment, Peculiar, Abulmuiz, and Success showcased outstanding arguments, each scoring 10 points. Godspower followed with 6 points, while Bright earned 5 points.
Quiz Decides the Champion
The turning point came in the general computing quiz, where contestants demonstrated their knowledge and speed. Peculiar dominated with 26 points, followed by Success with 24 points, Abulmuiz scored 18, Bright 20, and Godspower 16.
