  • What is Graphic Design

  • Who is a Graphic Artist

  • Examples of Graphic Design Software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Photoshop)

  • Introduction to CorelDRAW and its uses

  • Navigating CorelDRAW tools & interface

Assignment (5 Marks):

  • Define graphic design and list 5 examples of design software.

Practical (5 Marks):

  • Create a basic ID card design using CorelDRAW.

WEEK 2 – Software Development (JavaScript Basics)

Topics Covered:

  • What is Software Development

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Tools Needed (VS Code, Browser, Node.js – optional)

  • Writing your first JavaScript program

  • Creating a simple webpage with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Assignment (5 Marks):

  • Explain the five main stages of the SDLC.

Practical (5 Marks):

  • Build a simple webpage that prints “Hello World” using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

WEEK 3 – Graphic Design Project (Business Advert)

Topics Covered:

  • What is a Business Advert

  • Importance of Business Adverts

  • How to design a business advert flyer in CorelDRAW

  • Choosing colors, fonts, and layout for professional adverts

Assignment (5 Marks):

  • Define business advert and list three reasons why adverts are important.

Practical (5 Marks):

  • Design a simple product flyer using CorelDRAW.

Mini Project (15 Marks):

  • Create a complete business advert poster for a fictional brand or your personal business.

WEEK 4 – Software Development Project (JavaScript App)

  • Handling user input and interactions

  • Building a simple functional software (e.g., price calculator, registration form, or interactive advert page).

Assignment (5 Marks):

  • List and explain three real-life uses of JavaScript in websites.

  • Build a basic interactive form using JavaScript.

Final Project (35 Marks):
