FYS PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO THE 5TH OLUIGBAGUN OF IGBAGUN KINGDOM, OBA SAMUEL SHOLA ADEBOLA.
Earlier today, the leadership of the Federation of Yagba Students (FYS) paid a royal courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Oba Samuel Shola Adebola, the 5th Oluigbagun of Igbagun Kingdom.
A delegation Led by the National President of FYS, Comrade Hassan Oluwasegun Sherifdeen, the delegation visited the palace to officially congratulate the monarch on his meritorious ascension to the throne and to present a specially designed Royal Photo Frame on behalf of all Yagba students.
In his remarks, the President acknowledged the king’s longstanding contributions to student development and described him as “a dependable father-figure, an unwavering supporter of youth advancement, and a beacon of wisdom in Yagbaland.”
The king, in his response, warmly received the delegation and appreciated the thoughtful gesture. He reiterated his continuous commitment to youth empowerment, education, and community unity.
This historic visit by FYS is a clear reaffirmation of the Federation's dedication to strengthening relationships with traditional institutions and recognizing leaders who have consistently stood by the student community.
