The Federation of Yagba Students Union has presented the Education Philanthropist Award to Chief (RTN) Babayemi Olorunfemi in recognition of his outstanding generosity, commitment, and transformative contributions to the advancement of education in Okun land.
The student body expressed appreciation for Chief Babayemi's recent scholarship initiative, which provides financial support for 50 newly admitted students of the Technical College, Mopa. As part of this initiative, seven slots were specifically allocated to the student union, further strengthening opportunities for deserving students within the community.
In response, Chief Babayemi acknowledged the recognition and expressed gratitude to the union for the honor. He reaffirmed his dedication to empowering young minds through education, emphasizing the importance of equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed for a brighter future.
