Olumo Rock Visualizes Ogun State - Tunde. During Charity CDS Excursion.

The Olumo tour Guide Tunde on the 14th of December, 2021 made it known during Charity CDS members visit to Olumo rock, in description the top Landing of Olumo Rock has the eye view of Ogun State.


The Olumo Rock lies in between two communities Itoko and Ikija he described.


Tunde said the Rock has three Landing, First landing (Lisabi Garding) has 120 steps and the Rock has total 137m tall.

"The second landing has an incredible trees like Dongo tree called lime tree, Panseke tree called flamboyant named from the sound of the seed and Igi odan tree called doggedness."


"Some of the trees are medicinal while some of the trees are use for toy for small children and relaxation for lovers."


The Rock has a shrine which was also sighted by all the charity members.


"The shrine on every February of the year the Alake of Egbaland  and some high Chiefs visit for sacrifice and prayers for the State and Nigeria generally for the growth and development of the country".

Sunny Ajimatokunje Burial

Tunde also explained how the Egba people fought the first war Accent Drought (Ida Omi war).

He described Sunny Ajimatokunje, Oluitoko as the first tour guide who died and buried in the same landing.


He further Explain that the Rock  has 5 built room under the cafe since 1830 and four has collapsed.


Other Names of Olumo Rock are Oluwa lomo fun isadi, Oko Adagba.


The last landing gave us all the visualization of Ogun State where we were able to sight 

First Church Aglican, built 1844, First NTA (

NTA channel 12 Egbe, Fella's Family house and many more.


Charity CDS members has a memorable and interesting moment throughout their visit to Olumo Rock.
