Back in JSS 2 at JNI Secondary School, Kogi State, some mischievous students decided to invent the weirdest game ever. They dug a hole, tossed in some "Ebo" fruit, and then covered it all up with fresh dung. The challenge? Convince their classmates to dig through the mess with their bare hands, promising a cleaner fruit as a prize for the first person to find the hidden one.
At first, the "volunteers" hesitated, eyeing the suspicious pile like it might jump up and chase them. But peer pressure works wonders, and soon enough, a few brave souls were digging away. The rest of us stood around, a mix of curiosity and horror on our faces, watching the whole thing unfold.
Then came the moment of truth. As the diggers reached deeper, someone’s hands emerged, covered in more than just dirt! It took only a split second for everyone to realize what had just happened, and the reaction was instant—people screamed, yelled, and bolted away from the scene.
But it didn’t end there. Feeling tricked and disgusted, the messy diggers immediately turned their sights on the game’s organizers, hands still dripping with the "special sauce." They chased the pranksters all over the school, trying to smear them with their newfound "prize." The organizers ran for their lives, pleading, "It was just a prank! We’re sorry!" But there was no escaping the stinky justice.
By the time it was over, the school compound had witnessed one of the most chaotic (and oddly hilarious) moments in JNI history. It became the legendary story of our JSS 2 days, one that we kept laughing about even when we all graduated in 2012.
Ah, the good old crazy days!
