On the 16th December, 2023, NEWDAWN (NDFDI) for development initiative organized Excellency/Exemplary Award Giving and Empowerment at Hotel De Horizon Wuse II, Abuja.
The National President,
Dr. (Mrs) Titilayo Christiana Onyia said New dawn for development initiatives
[NDFDI) was founded basically to offer support the down trodden - youths,
widows, homeless, disabled, school drop outs and many more in our society
within our resources at every given time that means that the more resources we
have the greater we can achieve.

She added that NDFDI
have been carrying out these function of training/skill acquisition to our
youths and widows providing food items to the needy and homeless over the past
years.
Furthermore “We now
want to see how to get some of these homeless taken off our streets/roads by
providing accommodation to as many as we can through partnership that we can
strike in this event. “
“Some of the
experiences we have is that after training these youths, vulnerable, disables,
widows etc through our skill acquisition programmes, many still go back to the
streets as a result of inadequate empowerment.”
“This is one of the
reasons this event is organized to enable NDFDI seek your support as partners.
This task is enormous but with support from many of you present here, we can
accomplish so much. Therefore you provide finance empowerment items such as sewing
machines, shoe making kits, hair dressing equipments soap making reagents, food
items, clothing, books etc.”
“More so. NDFDI seizes
this auspicious opportunity to also solicit an office space within Abuja city
as this will make for easy accessibility to all and sundry. We thereby pray
that almighty God reward you all as you donate generously towards achieving
these goals and many more. The task will be lighter and easier if many of you
partner with NDFDI.
NDFDI honored philanthropic
present with award of Excellency/merit for their contributions towards making the
society a better place.
The president said “The
award is a small way of recognizing their developmental efforts and
encouragement in that direction.”
She said “it’s going to
be an annual event in NDFDI to always give awards to deserving Nigerians who
out of sheer passion will be aiding developments initiatives in the society
from this time forward; no doubt our society will be a better place if many of
us join in this rescue mission. Congratulations to all the awardees of today;
it will get better.”

when needed at all time.

He told the president
to organize and forward the list of the needy to him as they are ready to give
the person the necessary support.
Amb. Muhammad Auwal, the
Chairman of the Association of National Youth Leaders Forum of All Political
Parties (ANYLAPP) encourages the Needy by narrating his hard time story, and
also gave his donations to them.

He also assured the
market women of the new development coming on this January which will stop humiliating
during their market hours.
